The detailed inventory movement report shows each product's stock balance before the period, then lists every incoming or outgoing transaction along with its source, warehouse, unit price, average cost, and the inventory value after each transaction. This makes it possible to derive the opening and closing balances for the period.

Yes. The system calculates the product's average cost price and tracks the total purchase cost of the quantity in stock. Since it operates on a perpetual inventory system using the weighted average method, the cost of goods sold is calculated automatically with every sale, based on the product's average cost at that time.

You can select specific products from a warehouse to count by clicking "Add Product" and choosing the product you need, without stopping sales for it.

Through the stock count sheet report, the software shows the system quantity compared to the actual quantity entered by the counting team, and the value may appear as negative if there are inventory discrepancies. However, it doesn't identify the name of the person responsible for the count.

Yes. The detailed inventory movement report lets you filter transactions by type, and the main types include: invoice, purchase invoice, sales return, purchase return, warehouse voucher, internal and external stock counts, stock transfer, manufacturing order, and manual adjustment. You can also view a specific product's inventory movement, with the ability to search and filter by transaction type.

● From the main menu, go to "Inventory," then "Inventory Count Management," then click "New."
● Select the warehouse, date, and stock count sheet number, then click "Start Count."
● Choose "Add Product" to count specific items.
● Search by barcode for each product to make scanning easier during the count, then enter the actual quantity in the "Quantity" field and any notes in the "Notes" field.
● Once done, click "Done," then "Adjust," and the system will automatically generate the inventory addition and deduction vouchers to process the discrepancies and post the value to the cost of goods sold account.

Yes, the system supports both options:

Mobile app: Daftra offers a standalone inventory counting app available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. You can download it, log in with your main account credentials, and then start a new counting session or resume a previous one.

Barcode scanner: you can search the product field by barcode to make scanning easier during the count, letting you use any external barcode scanner connected to your device to enter items quickly.

Yes. The system supports tracking products through three options: Serial Number, Lot Number, and expiration date, or a lot number and expiration date together. This feature is enabled from the inventory settings, by turning on the "Track products by serial number, lot number, or expiration date" option.
